en season has cooking classes!

Here is the upcoming cooking class schedule at en season restaurant:

September 20   Stocks and Soups...All great meals begin with a stock, whether that be a vegetable, chicken, or beef stock. And basically, all it requires is a large pot in order  to cook the ingredients down. Learning how to inexpensively make soup is similar and very easy. Vegetable, tomato, and chicken noodle are just a few that will be demonstrated using fresh ingredients.   Cost: $20   Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

September 27    Understanding knives....Chef will demonstrate how to sharpen, buy, care for, and use your knives for maximum performance.   Cost: $15   Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm   $15

Not only will you learn new cooking skills, you will also have the opportunity to sample all that’s created during the class. Reservations are suggested, but not required. Call 309.343.1191 from 7:30am-4pm, Monday through Friday, or leave a message on our answering machine.

Some very interesting new classes are coming up Saturdays in September at en season! Learn Soy Candle Making September 9, find out how to make your own Natural Lip Balm and Body Scrub September 16, and discover how to make Wreaths on September 23. All classes are from 1-3pm. More details to follow!

More classes are planned for the rest of the year, so keep tabs on our Facebook page, and by logging on to our website, enseasongalesburg.com!
